This is my results put into a graph which explains what conventions my audience like most within a drama. The joint most popular is 'Powerful Acting' and 'Taboo and Powerful Subjects.' The least popular conventions include the different styled directing and the realism of the film. It is clear to me from these results my audience do not look specifically for different styled directing nor the realism. They look for the taboo and powerful subjects within the films as that is what makes Dramas so different, people expect these conventions,
which is why they are such a break from Hollywood films.

This is a graph of my results when i asked the audience 'What do you least like about the genre of Drama' Interestingly enough the most popular was stated 'other' however obviously with a plot graph you cannot plot peoples personal opinion where they are supposed to right 'please explain.' Inappropriate themes was not ticked once at all, therefore it's obvious my target audience must like the inappropriate themes which are featured with the drama genre. Too Explicit and Too Taboo where both level with three people each ticking that answer, however it is apparent that people are still Strong minded about strong themes such as these even though they are eighteen, therefore I have to bare that in mind of how strong the subject and how strong the content is which i feature within my film.

This is a graph to show which sub-genre my audience are most interested in with Drama being the overall genre.
Coming-Of-Age was the most popular sub-genre which i discovered, which I personally thought would be due to the fact that was the age of the audience which i was attracting, the majority of the audience I wanted to attract where aged 16- 18 which is iconic of 'coming-of-age' which is that step into adult hood.
The least popular options where Medical Dramas, and tragedy, I did not find this surprising as medical dramas don't usually make it into films as they are on television pretty much all of the time, with ER and Nurse Jackie, also with tragedy's, i was not surprised either, apart from Titanic and Romeo and Juliet there's not many other Tragedy-drama films which i could name personally, it doesn't seem to be a strong sub-genre at all, which is why I'm not surprised no body ticked the option.
Childhood and dramedy got the same amount of votes, i feel because Dramedy are the easy, light dramas to watch, they are not as heavy as other dramas can be. Also with child-dramas, they are usually very heavy and deal with dark issues, such as in Tod Fields 2006 film, Little Children the film deals with paedophilia and children within a stressful and dysfunctional marital state between mother and father.
This is the last question, and this graph shows the audiences favorite themes within a Drama. The most favorite theme, being pregnancies which is not suprising as my audience is 16-18 year old's, which the title of underage pregnancies hang over like a dark cloud. The themes of sex and aggressive confrontation also doesn't surprise me as films such as Green street 2005, Lexi Alexander follows the lives of hooligans, causing strong and powerful confrontation from other footballing fans from opposing teams. With teenagers having the image of being binge drinking teens on the park bench, within schools they also have the image of fighting. Also even at clubs which is the audience I'm aiming to attract, they are fighting therefore that result doesn't surprise me either.
Also with Ambiguity gaining the least amount of votes, this is defiantly not a surprise. With sixteen to eighteen year old's, they want to see action. They want to be interested with what they see in a drama, which is why i felt they voted Period drama one of the least popular, as usually period dramas are very long and don't excel and go over the top with the drama.
Overall this questionnaire has really helped me with my audience research, there was nothing different than what I expected however, it allowed me to view the research in graph state, which makes it easier to conclude and put these ideas into my film.
